The FABULOUS Principle© Barbara Rubel, MA, BCETS, CBS 1 nursing contact hour and 1 CEU for Social work approved This program is designed to increase self-awareness of skills and strengths that improve the ability to handle stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma. Through eight core competencies of the FABULOUS Principle: (F)lexibility; (A)ttitude; (B)oundaries; (U)nderstand job satisfaction; (L)aughter; (O)ptimism; being (U)nited; and (S)elf-compassion, participants will develop an understanding of ways to prevent compassion fatigue in their clients and themselves. Recognize character strengths that when put into practice, help develop resilience. If you are a professional that wants to learn how to use your strengths in the workplace or if you are a compassionate caregiver that is burning out, this program is for you. Professionals will identify character strengths that build resilience and mitigate compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Lunch for first 125.
