30th Annual Cardiology Update: August 18-20

The U-M 30th Annual Cardiology Update course will take place Friday - Sunday, August 18-20, 2017 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. The conference will be of particular interest to physicians providing adult primary care, cardiologists, and other health care professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, who work with cardiology patients. At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to implement diagnostic methods for ischemia, heart failure, and arrhythmia, management of stroke and post-stroke care, and understanding of interventional approaches for atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease and management of the newer issues related to hypertensive or diabetic patients. Your afternoons and evenings are free to enjoy the island activities including biking, kayaking, carriage tours and horseback rides. This course has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, AOA Category 2A Credits, and AAFP Prescribed Credits.
