February 4, 2017 8:00am - 1:00pmThe University of Michigan Center for Gastrointestinal Research invites you to join us for our 32nd Annual retreat, February 4, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. The retreat will take place at the Michigan League, on the second floor in the Vandenberg and Hussey rooms. This year’s honored Yamada Lectureship speaker is Dr. P. Kay Lund, who is Director, Division of Biomedical Research Workforce, NIH Extramural Research Training Officer, Office of Extramural Research (OER), Office of the Director (OD), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Lund’s talk is entitled, “Intestinal stem cells in health and disease: Regulation by hormones, nutrients and microbes.” We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Linda Samuelson, Dr. Juanita Merchant, and Dr. Jason Spence, will honor us with presentations highlighting their research in epithelial biology. As always, we invite you to present your research during our poster session, share some fellowship, and view exciting laboratory research.
