Global Health Initiatives Forum: Student Programs

March 23, 2017 6:30pm - 7:30pm
The Global Health Initiatives Forum series brings students and faculty from UMMS and other health-related schools together to share, discuss and foster international collaborations in various regions of the world. The series continues in March with an event focused on student projects overseas with collaborators in Africa, India and Sri Lanka. Brent Williams, Professor of Internal Medicine and Dierctor of the Global Health & Disparities (GHD) Path of Excellence, will provide a GHD program overview, followed by presentations from five students involved in research and capacity building projects abroad. All faculty and students with a passion for global health are invited to join us. With plenty of time for questions, group discussion, and individual conversations, we anticipate a lively exchange of ideas. A light dinner will be provided. Please RSVP to Robyn Hodges:
Location: Taubman Health Science Library, room 2901
