DICE Approach Training

November 20, 2017 8:00am - 3:00pm
Free DICE approach training session for managing the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). The complimentary training is for family dementia caregivers who are in need of a better way to manage the difficult behaviors associated with dementia. This session will include activities to give caregivers a deeper understanding of the causes of BPSD and how to apply the DICE Approach when behaviors occur. Feedback from these trainings will influence the creation of an online DICE Approach training program, which aims to be a source of direction and resources that will support Michigan’s aging population and their caregivers. We received wonderful feedback from the first training that took place in Grand Rapids this summer and we are pleased to have the opportunity to train locally. The next training is Monday 11/20 at Weber’s Inn in Ann Arbor 9AM-4PM DICE Approach Website: http://www.programforpositiveaging.org/diceapproach/ To contact the DICE Approach team: diceapproach@umich.edu
