Gifts of Art presents Recent Work: Ceramics by Jeri Hollister Jeri Hollister draws inspiration from her experience growing up in rural Michigan and her time as a student at the University Michigan studying art history and ceramics. She employs traditional ceramics tools and building techniques to create her horse sculptures allowing the process to be evident in the finished work. Gifts of Art presents Swimming Upstream: Quilts by Bonnie J. Smith Self-taught textile artist, author and curator Bonnie J. Smith lives and works in San Jose, California. She attended Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis Campus (IUPUI); and Indiana Central College; and has taken Master Dyeing Classes at Dartmouth College. Smith received the 2015 NICHE Award for design, and her textile work was selected for exhibition in the United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland (2016).
