Workshops offer support for caregivers

March 1, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Do you spend at least 10 hours per week helping a family member or friend with finances, emotional support, legal issues, physical care or activities of daily living?

Join Caregiver PATH (Personal Action Toward Health), a free, interactive six-week workshop designed to help faculty, staff and their families deal with the daily challenges of caring for a loved one. Each workshop is evidence-based and led by certified leaders.

At the workshops, learn to:

  • Manage your stress
  • Manage your loved one’s difficult behaviors
  • Get the help you need from others
  • Communicate better with family, friends and the health care team

Caregiver PATH workshops at U-M are provided through a partnership between MHealthy, Michigan Partners on the PATH and the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
