JDRF One Walk a huge success
Thank you to the Michigan Medicine faculty and staff who participated in this year’s JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) One Walk to support type 1 diabetes research.
The walk on Sept. 24 at Hudson Mills Metropark had seven Michigan Medicine teams participating and other representation from across the university. A total of 141 team members raised more than $12,000, and along with Michigan Medicine’s platinum corporate sponsorship of $10,000, the organization contributed more than $22,000 to this important cause!
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, with a number of important research studies funded at Michigan Medicine.
Thank you again to everyone who came out to walk, walked “virtually” with a team or donated See you all again next year!
