Attend upcoming lecture in medical genetics

All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to the 7th annual Thomas D. Gelehrter, M.D., Lecture in Medical Genetics.

The lecture takes place on Thursday, Oct. 5 and will be given by James P. Evans, M.D., Ph.D., the Bryson Distinguished Professor of Genetics and Medicine at the University of North Carolina. Evans is clinically active in medical genetics and general internal medicine and serves as the editor-in-chief of Genetics in Medicine, the official journal of the American College of Genetics and Genomics.

Evans’ research focuses primarily on clinical applications of emerging genomic analytic technologies and how genetic information is used and perceived by patients, the public and medical professionals.
