As football season kicks off, nominate your superstars and MVPs

September 5, 2017  //  FOUND IN: Our Employees,

On Saturday, the maize-and-blue faithful watched U-M take down Florida in the college football season opener. While the Wolverines were victorious on the field with the help of stars like quarterback Wilton Speight, running back Ty Issac and a strong defense, Michigan Medicine succeeds every day thanks to the many superstars in your unit or department.

Headlines wants to know which colleagues you consider your team MVPs! Email nominations to The submissions will be entered into a raffle to win cool prizes, such as movie passes and even U-M football tickets!

You can nominate anyone you like, from a coworker who recently earned a recognition — like Katherine Gallagher, M.D., who was recently lauded with a Clinical Scientist Development Award — to an entire team, such as the colleagues who worked together in July to respond quickly to a global malware attack.

Or just pass along your kudos to a colleague who delivers high-quality care or services to patients and families every single day. After all, it’s everyone’s hard work and dedication that makes Michigan Medicine the leaders and best in health care.

Email your entry by Wednesday, Sept. 13 and stay tuned as some of the top entries will be featured in an upcoming edition of Headlines.

Thanks for all you and your colleagues do at Michigan Medicine and, as always, Go Blue!
