Tickets going fast for Caden’s Full Throttle event
Are you interested in fast cars, food, fun and fundraising for a great cause?
Join other Michigan Medicine employees and the public on Friday, Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m. for the 4th annual Full Throttle: Horsepower with a Heart event. This amazing event is inspired in honor of former congenital heart patient Caden Bowles.
Caden, was an 11-year-old patient at Mott whose passion for life included an extraordinary love for and knowledge of cars. He was no average car nut. He would endlessly chatter about cars. He had knowledgeable, thoughtful explanations for his analyses of new product lines and trends in the car industry and even created his own newsletter during his days at the hospital — an impressive hand-drawn publication he called “Full Throttle.”
Now, Full Throttle is a fundraising affair — part luxury car exhibition, part gourmet dinner presented by Zingerman’s Cornman Farms and Forte Belanger.
Downshift and enjoy the natural and relaxed setting of Zingerman’s Cornman Farms. Idle a while, indulging in cocktails and appetizers beside some truly stellar automobiles and then enjoy a delicious feast. Finish off the evening with a car inspired live and silent auction items followed by dessert and dancing.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to donate to congenital heart research and pediatric heart transplants at Mott.
