Congratulations to several Michigan Medicine units that were recently honored for hand hygiene compliance!

The staff members of 5C were honored by Infection Prevention and Epidemiology for being the organization’s top performing unit for hand hygiene compliance in February.

The designation means that 5C was added to IPE’s hand hygiene honor roll, along with Peds Dialysis, PFANS, Children’s Emergency Services, 6B, 8B, 10E, 8E and 12E. Honor roll members qualify for a quarterly drawing and the chance at fantastic prizes.

The most recent quarterly hand hygiene honor roll winner was CES! The department recently celebrated its honor with members of the Michigan Medicine leadership team.
