Galens Tag Days are here again!
Every December since 1927, U-M medical students have taken to the streets of Ann Arbor on the first weekend of December to collect donations from passers-by to help charities that assist children — including our own C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Every donor receives a colorful paper tag to wear on their coat or bag as proof of their generosity.
That tradition, called Galens Tag Days, continues today through Saturday. Watch for medical students in red ponchos throughout the medical campus, downtown during Midnight Madness and on main campus. Last year’s campaign raised more than $90,000 — a new record that this year’s students will try to top.
