Diversity, equity and inclusion courses now available

Training and educational resources, including courses for individuals, teams and departments, are available as part of the university's diversity, equity and inclusion plan announced on Oct. 6.

In partnership with UHR Learning & Professional Development, Student Life, the UMHS Office of Health Equity and Inclusion, UHR Office for Institutional Equity, and the Program on Intergroup Relations, the following courses are now available to UMHS employees for no cost:

Additional courses are being developed. 

Departments and teams also can request any of the core educational courses to be held at their location. Professional facilitators are available for a fee to help departments or teams hold conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion.
