Traffic update: Plan ahead, expect delays

June 16, 2016  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Please be advised that a combination of road closures and special events will cause some traffic delays over the next week. If you are scheduled to work or plan on enjoying the beautiful weather around Ann Arbor, here's what to expect:

Saturday, June 18:

  • East Liberty Street between South Fifth and Division will be closed to vehicular traffic between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • East Washington Street between Fourth and Fifth avenues will be closed for the Ann Arbor Book Festival from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Monday, June 20:

  • A portion of South First Street between West Liberty and West William will be closed due to track work on the Ann Arbor Rail Road. Pedestrian traffic will also be detoured in the area. The work is expected to be completed by Saturday, June 25.
  • Eastbound Dhu Varren Road will be closed between Pontiac Trail and the Great Lakes Central Railroad Crossing for street resurfacing and drainage work. Look for detours in the area. That work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, June 30.

Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility!
