4TH ANNUAL AWARENESS NIGHT FOR GASTROPARESIS & DYSAUTONOMIA
You’re invited to the 4th Annual Night of Support & Awareness for Gastroparesis & Dysautonomia, which takes place on Sunday, July 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Park Place Banquet Hall, located at 23400 Park Street in Dearborn.
Gastroparesis and dysautonomia affect millions of Americans but there is very limited research and awareness for both diseases. Past event speakers have shared their journey fighting both diseases and how it affects them on a daily basis. Every year, UMHS Gastroenterologist Dr. Rafat Rizk also speaks about gastroparesis and dysautonomia from a clinical standpoint.
All proceeds are split between two nonprofit organizations: Dysautonomia International and the Gastroparesis and Dysmotility (GPD) Foundation.
Dinner and dessert is provided. A soup option is available, upon request, for those on a liquid diet. All chicken served is halal.
There will be a raffle! Raffle tickets cost $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Additionally, there will be a henna artist from Cedar Forest Henna. Make sure to bring cash for both the raffle and henna!
If you have any other questions or would like to purchase tickets, contact event organizer Dalia Chokr at email@example.com. Please include your full name and the number of people attending.
