The U-M Algorithms for Modern Venous Care course will take place Saturday, May 21, 2016 at The Inn at St. John’s, in Plymouth, Michigan. This course has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, AOA Category 2A Credits, AAFP Prescribed Credits, and registered for ABIM MOC Credits.

Primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are involved in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous disease, or for those who would like to learn more about venous disease care should attend this course. Participants will be able to walk away from the course understanding and/or implementing the newest advances and standards of care in the diagnosis and management of venous disease including venous thromboembolism, chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, venous ulcers, and pelvic congestion syndrome. Treatment and management options to be covered include direct oral anticoagulants, compression therapy, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, inferior vena cava filters, and iliocaval venous recanalization.
