Andrea Almeida, M.D., monitors Olympic hopeful hurdler Candice Price’s workout.

She’s no stranger to sports injuries, but hurdler and Olympic hopeful Candice Price had no idea what to do next when she was hurt in a bad car crash last fall. Price found herself with a concussion, and then debilitating headaches and some trouble keeping her balance.

The Ann Arbor native came to Michigan NeuroSport, where co-director Andrea Almeida, M.D., has been working with her ever since.

WXYZ 7’s Kacie Hollins came to MedSport to interview Price about working hard to get to Rio, in part thanks to the team at Michigan NeuroSport.
