Great American Smokeout is Nov. 19

The American Cancer Society recognizes every third Thursday of November as the Great American Smokeout. If you smoke or use tobacco, consider using November 19 to make a plan to quit.

The MHealthy Tobacco Consultation Service (TCS) has developed a "virtual" quit kit full of tools and resources to help remind you why you want to quit and how to stay quit.

TCS also provides free counseling giving you the support and skills needed to quit, and stay quit. A variety of program options are available, including individual, internet-based or telephonic tobacco treatment sessions. Those interested in enrolling can call (734) 998-6222 to talk with a tobacco treatment specialist.

Learn more about TCS, get the virtual quit kit, and read about clients who have successfully quit tobacco.
