May 5, 2015  //  FOUND IN: Announcements, Updates & Resources

Yesterday, MLearning rolled out a new mandatory regarding stroke education in order to meet The Joint Commission requirements for certified stroke centers. All UMHHC staff will be able to identify the warning signs and symptoms of stroke and know how to get immediate assistance within the health system.

UMHHC staff (not faculty or PAs) will complete their assigned stroke education MLearning activity based on their role.

  • Inpatient RNs: No change – continue to do their current module (Stroke for Nurses – NURS-62022)
  • All Other UMHHC Employees, including ambulatory nurses, (basic module – UMHS-52683)

Please contact the MLearning staff if:

  • you are a faculty member and received an email assigning the module to you
  • you are a nurse and have already completed the stroke module this year and it was assigned to you again
Contact: mlearninginfo@umich.edu or 615-5146. (off hours call the MCIT help desk at 936-8000)
