Advances in Rehabilitation Nursing (May 11)

The Advances in Rehabilitation Nursing conference will take place May 11, 8 a.m. – 4:20 p.m. at Kensington Court Hotel, 610 Hilton Boulevard, Ann Arbor.

This conference is designed for rehabilitation professionals in various practice environments. Sessions will enhance the caregiver perspective of the rehabilitation journey from the inside out. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues within the rehabilitation specialty.

Nurses, case managers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, social workers, rehabilitation physiologists, physicians and speech/language pathologists will all benefit from attending this conference. This program is co-provided.

Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. University of Michigan Health System’s Professional Development & Education for Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

6.25 contact hours for nursing will be provided.

Objectives:

  • Identify the patient/family role in rehabilitation care delivery.
  • Examine new perspectives of care for the rehabilitation patient.
  • Advance clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
