Alisa E. Koch, M.D., the Frederick G.L. Huetwell and William D. Robinson, M.D. professor of rheumatology, was named a co-winner of the Lee C. Howley Sr. Prize for Arthritis Research for 2011.
The award, given by the Arthritis Foundation, recognizes researchers whose contributions during the previous five years have represented a significant advancement in the understanding, treatment or prevention of arthritis.
It was shared with Andrew D. Luster of Massachusetts General Hospital.
