Dr. Tony Chiodo selected as Distinguished Clinician by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Congratulations to Dr. Tony Chiodo, Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Director of the Spine program and the Spinal Cord Injury program, for being selected as a Distinguished Clinician by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

This award goes to a member who has made outstanding contributions to the field in the clinical realm and the academic realm, as well as providing service to the organization.

Dr. Chiodo’s career accomplishments are too many to summarize here, but some of the highlights include Co-director of the Model Spinal Cord Injury Program, Membership of the American Board of PM&R and the PM&R RRC, Leadership positions in several national organizations related to PM&R, Directorship of our Spine and Spinal Cord fellowship programs, a long list of publications included invited commentaries, and successful practices in the academic and the private practice worlds.
