Fire extinguished on U-M Medical Campus

A small fire started this afternoon outside of the Medical Science 1 Building, just west of the Cardiovascular Center. 

The fire has been extinguished and the area is safe for travel.  No injuries or damage to buildings have been reported.

The Ann Arbor Fire Department was called in at 3 p.m. and firefighters cleared the scene just before 3:30 p.m.  The City fire inspector is looking into the cause of the incident.
