All Health System clinicians are invited to participate in the Patient Education Center’s class “Get a handle on Patient Education: Use the Clearinghouse to Create and Manage Your Patient Education Materials”.
The program will take place on Thursday, July 12 from 3-5 p.m. in the Taubman Library Learning Center.
Participants will learn how to search the UMHS Patient Education clearinghouse effectively to find print and audiovisual materials that have been created or endorsed by UMHS faculty and staff.
Participants will learn how to organize materials by area to make them more accessible to staff, how to prescribe specific materials to their patients and instruct them where to find the materials on the web.
Instructor: Ruti Volk, MSI, AHIP, UMHS Patient Education Librarian. Participants will be awarded 1.0 Non-Approved CE.
