At breakfast session “Mentoring and Sponsorship,” Abigail Stewart, Ph.D., director of the University of Michigan ADVANCE program, will address the age-old question of mentoring versus sponsorship and the advantages of each. She will reveal what sponsorship looks like when done well, and how to avoid the pitfalls of disparities among faculty.
This session will be held Monday, April 23, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Danto Auditorium, Cardiovascular Center and is intended for medical school faculty physicians and scientists. A faculty discussion panel will be included.
