Broadcast on Emergency Management (May 24)

The Joint Commission Quality & Safety Network is presenting a live broadcast entitled “When Disaster Strikes: Emergency Management Update” on Thursday, May 24 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The objectives of the program are to:

• Identify the Environment of Care standards related to Emergency Management
• Describe the purpose and means for conducting a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis
• Discuss the role of the hospital in the four phases of Emergency Management: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery
• Identify key components of effective Emergency Management strategies

The broadcast can be viewed live from your personal workstation via streaming video.
