Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Students (May 17)

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can affect any seemingly healthy student. The University of Michigan believes that the best course of action to combat sudden cardiac arrest is for health care providers to:

  • Understand the causes of SCA in students
  • Develop and implement screening programs that will identify students at risk for a cardiac condition
  • Help promote emergency response programs that will enable school faculty and staff to respond quickly and appropriately to a cardiac arrest
  •

Please join us for this event on Thursday, May 17, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the CVC Danto Auditorium; hot hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. CME credit is available for this event and we ask that you please register ahead of time. Please see our website for an agenda.
