Michigan on a Mission – Cardiovascular delegation visits Israel

It was Michigan on a mission during the 2nd Annual D. Dan and Betty Kahn University of Michigan — Technion Collaborative Cardiovascular Research Symposium.

The symposium took place on the Ramban Health Care Campus in Halifa, Israel and was featured in a recent issue of Detroit’s the JewishNews.com.

David J. Pinsky, M.D., chief of cardiovascular medicine and a director of the U-M Cardiovascular Center, was head of the Michigan delegation during the visit Dec 6. The D. Dan and Betty Kahn Foundation inspired the collaboration between the research institutions to expand cardiovascular research.
