Gifts of Art presents Strings Music by U-M Doctoral Strings Students (April 12)

This concert features Baroque, classical, romantic, and modern strings music by students in the U-M School of Music Ph.D. program.

Students within the ensemble are all seasoned and experienced musicians, having performed all over the world in various solo and ensemble concerts. Works on the program include pieces by Bach, Luigi Boccherini, Johannes Brahms, Luciano Berio, tangos by Piazzolla, and some large ensemble works featuring six cellos and two double basses.

The performers are Britton Riley, cello; Elizabeth Soukup, bass; Jeremy Crosmer, cello; Matthew Zalkind, cello; Grace Han, cello; Pia Greiner, cello; Mihaela Culjak, cello and Justyna Grudzinska, bass.

This concert will take place April 12 from 12:10 p.m. – 1 p.m. at the University Hospital Main Lobby, Floor 1.
