Marlena Studer has performed professionally as a jazz vocalist throughout the US and Canada since 1995. She has worked with the finest jazz musicians in southeast Michigan to record three CDs of richly nuanced interpretations of jazz standards. Her jazz vocals have been described by reviewers as silky smooth and sizzling with sensuality.
In this performance, she will be accompanied Glen Tucker, a highly acclaimed local jazz pianist who trained in the U-M Jazz Studies Program.
Here performance will take place Thursday, May 10 at 12:10 p.m. in University Hospital Main Lobby, Floor 1.
