On Tuesday, Facebook unveiled a new feature that allows users to share their organ donation status with friends and family.
Jeffrey Punch, M.D., the U-M Transplant Center Director, spoke with several national media outlets about the new initiative, and said it should help promote the conversation about donating organs.
“This is a huge step forward,” he told ABC News. “But nothing is going to solve donation problem overnight.”
