The Housing Bureau for Seniors presents to Dexter Seniors (May 7)

The Housing Bureau for Seniors announces the Monday, May 7 presentation by Director Elizabeth Adams at the Dexter Senior Center.

Elizabeth will be discussing the five different Housing Bureau programs that work to keep seniors in appropriate and affordable living arrangements. She will be answering any questions community members may have regarding Senior Living Week, the only annual event that brings together the people who provide senior resources, services and products with those that need them.

“This will be a great opportunity to learn about services for older adults in your community to assist you, your aging parents or customers with housing needs,” says Adams. “We encourage anyone who is looking for information in the Dexter area to join us at the Dexter Senior Center on May 7.”

The Housing Bureau for Seniors staff and volunteers work to improve housing and related issues, link seniors and caregivers to needed community-based services and help prevent evictions and homelessness through five core programs: Elderly Eviction Prevention, Foreclosure Prevention, HomeShare, Housing Counseling Program and Education Outreach.

Join us on Monday, May 7 at 1 p.m. at the Dexter Senior Center for more information on how the Housing Bureau for Seniors can assist you and your family members.
