Jeffrey Kutcher, M.D., discusses sports-related head injuries with NPR

Jeffrey Kutcher, M.D., director of Michigan NeuroSport and assistant professor in the department of Neurology at U-M, spoke with NPR’s Science Friday as part of a conversation about sports-related head injuries and their effects.

The conversation highlighted a new play called “Headstrong,” about a football player dealing with the neurological consequences of a violent playing career.

Along with an actor and the artistic director of the play, the conversation also featured Kutcher and Annegret Dettwiler-Danspeckgruber, an associate research scholar at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute.
